Mental Health Treatment Levels of Care
Mental health recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your treatment shouldn’t be either.
Our cutting-edge programs combine clinical excellence with a modern, comfortable environment that makes treatment something you’ll enjoy and actually want to engage with. New Life Mental Health offers the following levels of care:
01
Outpatient Program
Our Outpatient Program provides ongoing mental health support for those who have completed more intensive treatment or need consistent therapeutic guidance. This flexible level of care includes regular individual therapy sessions, medication management when needed, and access to our clinical team—all while you continue working, going to school, or managing family responsibilities.
It’s the perfect bridge between intensive treatment and complete independence.
02
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) gives those requiring intensive support stability and treatment options without the need for 24-hour care.
You will participate in intensive group therapy sessions several days a week, utilizing evidence-based therapy such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness.
This level of care is ideal for those stepping down from PHP or whose symptoms require more than traditional outpatient services.
03
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Our Partial Hospitalization Program is the highest level of outpatient care we provide. It is a highly structured, intensive form of treatment, involving all-day programming, five to six days per week. You will receive complete psychiatric care, including medication management, individual therapy, and in-depth group programming, from the best clinical team in the state.
Perfect for individuals transitioning from inpatient care or those whose mental health symptoms don’t require round-the-clock supervision, but still significantly impact their day-to-day functioning.
04
Inpatient/Crisis Management Placement
When you’re experiencing a mental health crisis that requires immediate intervention, we’re here to connect you with the right resources.
At New Life Mental Health, we specialize in outpatient treatment and partner with trusted local psychiatric hospitals to ensure you receive the stabilizing treatment you need first. We will refer you to our partner facilities, where you can receive immediate crisis management in a safe, medically supervised environment. Once you are stable and ready to continue your recovery journey, we will welcome you to the appropriate level of care at New Life.
What Makes Our Approach Different
We’ve built something special here.
New Life Mental Health is not just another treatment center; it’s an experience in treatment. Our modern facility creates a comfortable, cozy environment, unlike the feelings often associated with institutional care. We strive to make treatment engaging and effective by creating a top-notch clinical programming experience in a welcoming environment that motivates you to show up and do the work.
We don’t just treat symptoms, we prepare you for life after treatment—because no patient should get left behind.
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Levels of Care
How do I know which level of care is right for me?
During your initial consultation, our team will assess you to understand your symptoms, daily functioning, support system, and treatment goals. We’ll verify your insurance coverage and recommend the level of care that best matches your clinical needs. Our goal is to provide the right intensity of treatment—enough to create meaningful change, but not more than you need.
Does New Life accept insurance?
We take most major medical insurance plans and also accept private pay. To get started, please call, and we will ask to verify your insurance during our first call. During this call, we will help you understand your benefits and what to expect in terms of cost.
Can I use my phone during treatment?
Absolutely, we recognize the need for connection with your support system and management of responsibilities in your life. We will discuss acceptable phone use during your admission to ensure it supports, rather than impedes, your recovery process.
What if I need crisis stabilization before starting treatment?
If you’re going through a mental health crisis that requires urgent psychiatric stabilization, we will refer you to a local partner hospital we trust. When you are stabilized and ready, you will be welcomed into the appropriate level of care at New Life. This referral service connects you with the right type of care at the right time.
